The Extreme Amateur Radio Networks

We are a World Wide Organization for Amatateur Radio Operators and Short Wave Listener's.
Founded by Frederick Folsom in Tucson, AZ. on July 12 of 1997. The Extreme Amateur Radio Networks
Was created to get you excited about our radio hobby,
with some of the crazy thing's we done to get on the air and make that awesome contact.

After Frederick came out of the Army he found most of the local repeaters Dead!,
So he and about a dozen friends got together and founded the organization.
Frederick remembered the bands were very active before he entered the Army!

By years end they were over 250 members, But soon lost members the following year!
Frederick moved back to Texas and in a few months he recreated the organization,
there the organization grew to over 2100 members and in to 6 states.

Today we are a World Wide Organization and open to anyone interested in the hobby!
You no longer need to be a Amateur (Ham) Operator to join.
