100 miles from they’re home.
Some ATV's (Amateur TV) units are using hand-held type radio's that can termite live video more then 40 miles,
in real time, with 1024x 820 screens that are around 2'' by 2'' in size.
Radio amateurs have had they’re own cell type phone for years before they came out to the public, back in the 70s many repeater networks started popping up all across America.
with a Phone AutoPatch on then that would let you make phone call's from your car or while you were walking.
